Part number and cross-reference search
Trade buyers — garages and resellers — search by part number straight away. Search must understand OEM numbers, analogue numbers, and spellings with or without dashes. That is a dedicated search index, and it is exactly what separates a working parts store from «a catalogue with filters».
Catalogue, supplier feeds and stock synchronisation

Honest advice: with a few thousand SKUs and a single supplier, start simple and validate demand. But if the plan includes several feeds, trade customers and paid traffic to the catalogue, it is cheaper to build the platform once than to migrate a year later and risk your SEO rankings.
